Pin Parvati pass connects the Parvati valley (Kullu) in the west and the Pin valley (Spiti) in the east. The high mountain pass is located at a height of 5,319 metres (17,450 feet). The trail begins in Parvati Valley at a relatively low elevation, allowing for easier acclimatization before crossing 5319 m. You arrive at the huge flat valley floor at Mantalai, where the moraines of the Parvati glacier come to a stop, after passing by the expansive alpine meadows of Tunda Bhuj. steep path to base camp on the left as you leave the valley.
A long glacier crossing leads to a small pass with a panoramic view of the Great Himalayan range peaks Parvati South, Parvati North, Pinnacle, and Kullu Eiger, all of which are over 6,000 metres high. downhill slope leading to Pin River. An easy walk leads to Mudh (3820m), the final settlement in the Pin valley, along the Pin River’s left bank. Pin valley is significantly more rocky and arid than Parvati valley due to the stark change in climate.
